Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated 19 October 2026
You can have data that Cadence holds about you or your connected accounts deleted at any time, in either of these ways.
Option 1 · Disconnect in the app (immediate)
- Sign in to Cadence and open Connections.
- Find the account (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X) and choose Disconnect.
- Its encrypted access and refresh tokens are deleted straight away, and Cadence can no longer access that account.
Option 2 · Delete in Settings
Open Settings → Members & deletion. Type DELETE and confirm Delete my account or, as primary owner, Delete workspace. Owned workspace records and storage files are removed for all members; content in other owners’ workspaces remains. Wait for publishing in progress to finish first. If a deletion fails, retry or contact us.
Option 3 · Request help by email
- Email lachieold@gmail.com with the subject "Cadence data deletion request".
- Include the email address you use for Cadence and/or the social account names to delete.
- We will verify your identity and help with deletion within applicable legal timeframes. Provider copies, backups and legally required records may have separate retention periods.
Removing Cadence from Facebook or Instagram
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → select Cadence → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions / Apps and websites → select Cadence → Remove.
After removing the app on Meta, email the address above if you also want your stored data deleted.
